When a parent or grandparent can have them commit to a certain section of a flower and garden space, making it their own personal responsibility, they tend to take the job more seriously and can develop the responsible attitude that will serve them later in life.
Most will agree that when planning and working flower and garden plots, they actually look forward to seeing a successful conclusion to the growing season for which they planned. Whether it is a small flower bed or a vegetable garden for produce for their own use, the time and effort expended is worth it in more than just the product.
